This is the boat day for anyone who does not want to solve logistics. A van collects you from your hotel, drops you at the New Port at Tourlos, and the catamaran does the rest. You choose the departure when you book — the morning sailing for flat light and the calmest water, the afternoon one if you would rather be on deck when the sun drops behind the headland.
The route runs the south of the island towards Rhenia, the uninhabited island where every swim stop in these waters happens. On the way it passes Delos without landing, and the inclusions say so in plain words instead of letting you find out on the day. If the meltemi is up, the captain may swap the route for the sheltered south coast of Mykonos and its beaches — a written term of the booking, not an improvisation, and the July travellers who were told in advance still rated the day five stars.

The operator is in the Tourlos area at the New Port of Mykonos. If you are making your own way there rather than taking the pickup, the meeting point is across from the port beside a tavern called Mathios, at the departure time on your booking.
