That last one is the point. Everything else about a port day can be improvised; the deadline cannot.
Large vessels normally berth at the New Port at Tourlos, 2.5 km north of town. The Old Port at the edge of the Chora is also used. Two of these operators publish a meeting point for each and confirm about a week ahead — the map and ports page shows why that matters.
Armenistis, Fokos and Ftelia are reachable only by vehicle. If the lighthouse is why you got off the ship, a booked vehicle is not a convenience, it is the mechanism.

With eight hours and a berth at the Old Port, you do not need to book anything: the Chora costs nothing, the KTEL bus reaches the southern beaches for a couple of euros, and the Sea Bus is €2. With four hours, or a berth at Tourlos, or the north of the island on your list, the maths changes completely.
